Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Portofino 6600 Hairdryer Review

The simple hairdryer. They get used each and every day but this is often when we least appreciate technology. We become over familiar with it and just start taking it for granted. That is exactly what I did with the few hairdryers I owned until I found my first bad one. I was in a rush for work and almost ready to go. The only thing I had left to do was to blow dry my hair to prevent me looking like a caveman.

I switched it on, only anticipating the job to take a couple of minutes and ten minutes later I was still standing there trying my best to utilise the weak puff of air coming from this machine. This is when I knew things had to change and since that day I have only ever let good standard hair dryers into my house! Hopefully I have found another today, and we will be looking at the Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Portofino 6600!

So what features does it have?

It may be small but this hairdryer certainly packs a punch. It has a huge 2000 watts of power which when compared to other rival dryers literally and metaphorically blows them out of the water! The Italian AC motor is plenty powerful enough to dry even the dampest of hair so it doesn’t matter if you are Rapunzel or Bruce Willis, whatever is on top of your head will get dry! There are six different speed/heat settings so finding the right level for your hair will be no problem. This is a hairdryer which is packed with impressive nano titanium technology and it even has a bonus feature still to come! There are three concentrator nozzles included so whether you want curls, bangs, or straight hair you can choose which, and if you search hard enough in the box you’ll find a diffuser too!

Tell me the good points?

You will seriously struggle to find a bad word that has been said about the Bayliss no matter how hard you look. Customers who have previously used this dryer have said that not only is it powerful enough to dry thick to medium hair in under three minutes, but it is also very quiet by hairdryer standards. It is lightweight so easy for transportation and the controls are cleverly located on the side of the hand grip so they can be adjusted when in use.

And the bad points

As I mentioned you would struggle to find a bad word about this machine but as a self appointed expert reviewer I did manage to spot just one. It might be a new listing at Oomphed! but the packaging does leave something to be desired as it can arrive to you in a rather tatty state.

What’s the conclusion?

The conclusion is that if you are on the lookout for a new hairdryer then you should go and buy the Babyliss! It is perfect for everyday use and powerful enough for those tough jobs too so you won’t ever put it in a situation it can not cope with!
